This handcrafted beechwood bowl is specially designed for its accompanying mezzaluna. A mezzaluna is a half moon shaped chopping knife, and is an old world tool yet modern day kitchen staple.
The mezzaluna makes chopping salads or coleslaw a breeze with no need to drag out or wash a cutting board! Simply chop right in the bowl. The rounded blade catches cut pieces otherwise pushed aside by a chef's knife, meaning less waste while being faster and easier! The mezzaluna also works well directly on a cutting board.
