Slipware from the French Countryside
Discovered by our founder in a quiet antique shop, this limited collection of slipware pottery was handmade in France using age-old techniques from the region of Aubagne, where pottery has been shaped by hand for over 22 centuries. Each piece is alive with marbled slip, soft curves, and visible maker’s marks that reflect a warmth, tactility, and history rarely found in today’s ceramics. These are potteries of yesteryear - designed to move from oven to table, from everyday use to cherished display. As curators of craft, we’re proud to share these one-of-a-kind forms that celebrate the enduring beauty of tradition, storytelling, and the human hand.
