Sales and Operations Associate

Farmhouse Pottery is seeking a qualified, energetic, candidate for a full-time retail/admin associate. We are a nationally recognized boutique lifestyle brand looking for someone ready to help us grow in our headquarters. This position requires a self-starter with initiative to support sales and help evolve our brand. This is a full-time position in Woodstock, VT that will include working on Saturday and Sunday.

Responsibilities

  • Manage store open and closing
  • Manage store merchandise - re-stock based on sales
  • Manage store cleaning, support seasonal floor changes to merchandising
  • Work with customers, tell our brand story and give pottery workshop tours when appropriate
  • Train and develop skills of seasonal retail staff
  • Support 200+ national wholesale accounts and manage orders
  • Filing paid invoices and bills
  • Manage store register
  • Various administrative tasks at request of management

Requirements

  • Outgoing personality, high charisma
  • Ability to follow direction with an eye for the details
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Computer literate, knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel preferred
  • Retail experience encouraged
