Distribution Manager

Oversee the warehouse and distribution center for Farmhouse Pottery in the flagship building in Woodstock, Vermont. Primary roles include managing distribution staff, ensuring warehouse organization, ensuring the timely delivery of retail and wholesale shipments and improving overall distribution efficiencies.


  • Oversee all warehouse operations.
  • Improve logistical processes
  • Inventory all incoming goods
  • Oversee supply buying and storage
  • Supervise order shipment
  • Ensure customer returns are handled promptly
  • Handle incoming deliveries for production and retail
  • Maintain shipping costs
  • Manage distribution vendor relationships including UPS, FedEx and suppliers
  • Monitor progress of major shipments to ensure customer receipt
  • Collaborate with sales to ensure orders are shipped correctly and on time
  • Oversee assembly of all products
  • Ensure inventory maintains optimal levels
  • Manage trade show transport
  • Generate warehouse support schedule
  • Mange new product introductions

Required prior experience:

  • Management of a large scale warehouse
  • Familiarity with UPS and FedEx shipping
  • High School Education or higher
