How do you approach combining textures, colors, and materials when designing a tablescape?

I love mixing patterns and textures, often incorporating unexpected elements in unconventional ways. I typically begin with a base layer, like a runner or tablecloth, to set the foundation. From there, I layer in patterns using dishes or napkins and embrace the rich texture of pottery to add depth. Greenery is a favorite finishing touch, bringing in additional texture and complementary colors that tie the entire setting together beautifully.

How do you make a tablescape feel personal and unique for different occasions or seasons?

I have a passion for sourcing vintage and unique pottery dishes, each carrying their own story. As an avid collector, I often discover these special pieces during my travels, and they always hold a cherished place in my heart and home.

What’s one common mistake people make when styling their dining tables, and how can they avoid it?

Creating a table that is too busy, with incorrect proportions or scale.

What are your Farmhouse Pottery favorites to feature, no matter what the season?

The French Country Crock creates a stunning centerpiece.
Confetti Heart Mugs and Silo Dinnerware elevate everyday dining.
The Farmhouse Olive Oil Bottle and Countryman Utility Crock sit beside the stovetop.
